Old Merchant Taylorians Rugby Fives

Thanks to Bhaswar Baral for the following information:

The Old Merchant Taylorians (OMTs) meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Rugby fives courts of Merchant Taylors School, Sandy Lodge Way, Northwood, Middlesex and usually leave some two hours later in varying states of delirium and trauma; a pub session may ensue post exercise in which glove deals may be struck and an air of nostalgia created as the older members recount to us "wired and connected" whippersnappers the very day they bought their gloves which are usually so disintegrated they look like 3D leather jigsaw puzzles.

You can make your pilgrimage to the four courts of sweat and passion via London Transport's own Metropolitan line: Moor Park is the stop you want. Fast and semi-fast trains usually stop there if coming from Baker St in central London. Once at Moor Park, you come out of the main entrance of the station and out of the station's crescent keeping to your right. Turn right into Station Approach(?) and walk up this road until you see a railway bridge above you to the right. Follow the road under the bridge and dead ahead you will see the School's west gate. Don't be deceived by its appearance of being locked: it is, but by its side is a smaller pedestrian gate which should be open. Now you should see the school looming up at 11 o'clock as you walk down this very long and drive which goes on and on and on. Go to the very end (by the Manor of the Rose for boarders) and turn left onto the main school drive which is identifiable by the vicious sleeping policemen it possesses. Follow the main drive all the way to its end in the main quad. In the far right hand corner of the quad is the entrance to the Fives courts.

Usually the sports complex remains open until 10 pm should you require a shower.
